Vatican City is the center of Christianity, the Pope, who is the head of the Holy Church, celebrates Mass and receives pilgrims. Every Sunday at noon, they can hear his welcoming words during the ceremony called Angelus in St. Peter's Square, they could also participate to the General Audience on Wednesday in Aula Paolo VI (also know as Aula Nervi).
Unlike the Angelus ceremony, which can be accessed freely, for the General Audiences you need a ticket issued free of charge by the Vatican Prefecture upon reservation. Tickets will then be collected on the previous days, or on the day itself, at the appropriate office at the Bronze Door of the Vatican City. You can find the calendar of audiences and all the necessary information on the official website Vatican.va or by using our cross-references by clicking the tags at the bottom of this page.
